Bank of Ghana Releases Official Exchange Rates for Friday, June 12, 2026

The Bank of Ghana (BoG) has released its official daily exchange rates for Friday, June 12, 2026. The rates reflect the average interbank foreign exchange transactions recorded by commercial banks at the close of business on Thursday, June 11, 2026.

US Dollar (USD)

The United States Dollar remains one of the most widely traded foreign currencies in Ghana. According to the Bank of Ghana, commercial banks are buying the dollar at GH₵11.0445 and selling it at GH₵11.0555. The minimal spread between the buying and selling rates suggests relative stability in the foreign exchange market.

British Pound Sterling (GBP)

Commercial banks are buying the pound at GH₵14.7256 and selling it at GH₵14.7414. The slight variation between the two rates reflects standard market margins applied during interbank transactions.
