DVLA Deputy CEO Yeboah Iddisah Seidu Boosts Bole District Sports With Fresh Equipment Donation

BOLE, SAVANNAH REGION — The Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA), Mr. Yeboah Iddisah Seidu, has once again demonstrated his commitment to grassroots sports development with a fresh donation of sports equipment to the Bole District.

The donation, made in response to a request from the District, comprises 10 sets of jerseys, three footballs and two volleyballs to support sporting activities within the area.

The latest intervention adds to Mr. Yeboah Iddisah Seidu’s growing contribution to sports development in the Bole District. A few months ago, the Deputy DVLA CEO donated sports equipment to Tinga Meteors FC and has now extended his support to sports activities across the wider District.

The continued interventions are aimed at providing young people, schoolchildren and sports enthusiasts with essential equipment to participate in sporting activities, develop their skills and pursue opportunities through sports.

District Education Director Commends Donation

Receiving the items on behalf of the District, the District Director of Education, Mr. Richard Sepaga, expressed appreciation to Mr. Yeboah Iddisah Seidu for his swift response to the District’s request.

Mr. Sepaga said the donation would contribute significantly to the identification and nurturing of sporting talents within the Bole District, particularly among young people and schoolchildren.

He assured the donor that the equipment would be used judiciously and for its intended purpose, stressing that the District would maximise the opportunity to promote sports development.

Mr. Sepaga further expressed the hope that the intervention would help discover talented athletes capable of representing the Bole District and Savannah Region at higher levels of competition.

According to him, with the right support and opportunities, some of the young talents benefiting from the equipment could eventually excel in sports and make a name for themselves beyond the District.

Supporting Grassroots Sports

The donation has been described as another meaningful contribution towards grassroots sports development and talent identification in Bole District.

From supporting Tinga Meteors FC a few months ago to responding to the broader sporting needs of the District, Mr. Yeboah Iddisah Seidu continues to demonstrate his willingness to contribute to the development of sports within his community.

For the Bole District, the expectation is that the jerseys, footballs and volleyballs will not only support sporting activities today but also help identify and nurture the stars of tomorrow.
